The Department of Nanotechnology Engineering started its education life in the 2024-2025 academic year.

Qualification Awarded
|
Those who successfully complete the four-year undergraduate education graduate with the title of Nanotechnology Engineer.

Admission Requirements
|
The Department of Nanotechnology Engineering accepts students who have a high school diploma and who have received the required numerical score in the TYT and AYT exams conducted by the Evaluation, Selection and Placement Center (ÖSYM). In addition, students who are vertical transfer (for associate degree graduates) and horizontal transfer (from Nanotechnology Engineering departments of other universities) to Nanotechnology Engineering can also register within the framework of the previously announced numbers and transfer conditions. The admission of foreign students is carried out according to the YÖS exam results conducted by the Evaluation, Selection and Placement Center (ÖSYM).

Higher Grade Transition
|
Students who successfully complete the four-year undergraduate program are accepted within the framework of the Master's application conditions determined by the Universities' Institutes of Science.

Graduation Requirements
|
Students who successfully complete all courses in the program (equivalent to a total of 240 ECTS credits), achieve a weighted grade point average of at least 2.00 out of 4.00, and complete a 60-day internship are awarded a bachelor's degree.

Assessment and Grading
|
For each course, students are subjected to midterm and final exams. The evaluation of students' final success is carried out as specified in the Istanbul Gedik University education and training regulations.
