Objectives of the Course
The aim of this course is to put the theoretical knowledge acquired in the mental health and illness nursing course into practice, clinical skills, clinical decision making, critical thinking and research skills.
and developing the ability to work independently by increasing their skills in cognitive, affective and behavioral areas.
Course Content Risky situations in psychiatry and risk assessment, motivational interviewing, community-based preventive psychiatric practices, cognitive distortions and cognitive behavioral approach, family attitude in child and adolescent mental health, patient and nurse safety, ethical problems that may be encountered in the field of psychiatry
