Dersin Amacı
|
Starting with the 19th century’s upheavals, the course ends up with recent developments experienced in the Eastern European region following the end of Cold War. The main aim is to familiarize the students with major historical, political and social aspects of these territories.

This course focalizes on the Russian/ex-Soviet and Balkan (especially former Yugoslavian) territories, and it gives priority to their political histories.
