Objectives of the Course

To introduce the products and services offered by public institutions or organizations and private companies to the target audiences and to the public, to provide public relations scientific basic information to the intermediate staff to be employed in the Public Relations departments, which were created to create a reputation for the institution and brand in the eyes of the public, to create interest and to maintain it, To comprehend the basics of the science of Public Relations, the reasons for its emergence, its importance and principles.

Course Content

In the course, the definition, birth and importance of the profession of Public Relations, as well as other concepts close to this concept, will be examined, the differences will be revealed and the students will be introduced to the concepts, theories and principles of public relations. Aiming to create the necessary infrastructure for a successful public relations activity, the discussions in the course focus on research, defining goals, identifying target audiences and appropriate messages, choosing the right channels and evaluating the results. Printed and visual tools used in the field of public relations are the subject of this course.
