Objectives of the Course It is aimed to introduce the current branches in insurance and to understand the general conditions. It is aimed to understand and learn insurance types and branches.
Course Content Explains the functioning of insurance in countries, the general insurance structure and important points. It analyzes life insurances and non-life insurances by separating them into types. Insurance branches are examined by dividing non-life insurance into branches such as accident, fire, transportation and general liability.
Course Methods and Techniques Students are expected to come prepared for the subject of the week before the lesson. Weekly lectures are evaluated by midterm and final exams. In the final exam, students are held responsible for all subjects from the first week.
