Objectives of the Course English I course provides an introduction to the English language and aims to teach basic grammar, vocabulary ,and conversation strategies for everyday interaction. Students taking this course can communicate both in spoken and written English and express themselves accurately and fluently in business situations.
Course Content English I course includes subjects, which are used in everyday language, such as Be: I/you/he/she/it, numbers 0-9, greetings, letters and countries, contractions of be, Be: Questions with ‘where’, common phrases, saying room numbers/names, Questions with ‘who’, ‘what’Possessive adjectives: my, your, his, her, numbers 10-99, occupations, articles : a/an, talking about age, saying e-mail addresses, Be: we/they; contractions, be: negative; yes/no questions, days of the week, descriptive adjectives: places, possesive adjectives: our/their, plural nouns, can: requests, demonstratives: this/that/these/those, public places, food and drink, possesive nouns : ‘s (apostrophe ‘s), clothes and colors, irregular plurals, buying tickets, there is / there are, some/a lot of, Prepositions of location, Nationalities can/can’t : ability, telling time, giving an opinion, greeting a friend.
