Objectives of the Course
|
In this course, it is aimed that the students will be able to form their general mathematics foundation, apply the basic mathematics concepts they have learned to the problems which they will define in their professional programs, gain analytical thinking abilities, develop their problem solving skills, and interpret numerical data.

Sets, Integers, Rational Numbers, Simple Inequalities, Real Numbers and their applications, Absolute Value, Exponents, Radical Numbers, Factoring and Identities, First Degree Equations and Inequalities, Ratio and Proportion, Functions, II. Degree Equations and Inequalities, Parabolas, Polynomials, Logarithms, Analytical Geometry, Trigonometry, Complex Numbers and Applications, Matrix and Determinant, Linear Equations.
