Objectives of the Course Be able to dimension by drawing 2D (two dimensional) mechanical drawings and assembly drawings using CAD program, to use ready to use forms-objects to design 3D (three dimensional) modelling on the CAD program, to print.
Course Content Doing two and three dimensional technical drawings by using Solidworks package program. Be able to recognize basic computer design equipment, concepts such as CAD and CAM and a Solidworks screen and introduction to Solidworks program, be able to draw and measure using Solidworks package program for three and two dimensional technical drawing applications. Be able to get a printout of a drawing from any printer or plotter.

5 Lecturing 3D Design importance and Showing 3D comments
6 The importance of 3D three-dimensional design in the CAD environment and the introduction of 3D commands
7 Creating solid models, editing and adding to solid models (Creating and cutting solids with extrusion)
8 Creating a solid model, editing and adding to solid models (Extrude, Revolve, Swept, loft)
9 Duplicate and mirror commands in 3D solid model
10 Use of CAD reference geometry
11 3D design applications of machine parts with solid modeling in Solidworks.
12 Introduction of the assembly module in Solidworks application
13 Using assembly commands and relationships
14 Introduction and use of the technical drawing module, preparation of manufacturing drawings in accordance with technical drawing rules
