Objectives of the Course To comprehend the Manufacturing Procedures, to improve the knowledge and skills of the students by learning the basic principles of the methods. Gaining the ability to decide in the selection and application of any manufacturing method with the synthesis of material, construction and manufacturing information.
Course Content Technology, production and manufacturing concepts, casting, welding, chipless and machining methods and principles, applications and types of manufacturing, non-traditional manufacturing methods.

3 Sand casting method (model technique, mold and core materials).
4 Gravity die casting, pressure casting, centrifugal casting, precision casting and centrifugal casting methods
5 Plastic forming methods, principles of chipless forming.
6 Chipless forming principles, hot - cold forming and Forging method.
7 Rolling and Extrusion methods

9 Sheet metal forming, deep drawing, wire drawing methods
10 Unconventional manufacturing methods – Laser cutting, waterjet cutting
