Objectives of the Course
|
The aim of these lessons is to provide students with background information on the basic concepts of analytical chemistry.
|
Course Content
|
Potantiometric analysis, discuss the principles and equipment required to perform potentiometric and electrochemical analysis and conduct experiments. Oxidation - reduction analysis, discuss the procedures for redox titrations, titrate iron by redox titration, perform the calculations required for data from redox titrations. Spectrophotometric analysis, discuss the nature electromagnetic radiation, discuss the electromagnetic spectrum, perform calculations involving beer’s law.
