Objectives of the Course The purpose of this course is to introduce students to the fundamental concepts and principles of physical chemistry, enabling them to understand the physical properties and behaviors of chemical systems.
Course Content Gases; Zero, first, second and third laws of thermodynamics and its applications; Physical transformations of pure substances; Properties of simple mixtures; Phase diagrams; Chemical equilibrium, Chemical kinetics; Complex reaction kinetics; Reaction rate theories
