Objectives of the Course In order for the products obtained as a result of the experiments carried out in scientific studies and industrial applications to be identified and used in the next stages, they must be purified as a priority. With the information to be given in this course, it is aimed that associate degree students learn useful techniques in these separation/purification stages.
Course Content In this course, students are informed about the separation/purification methods of substances. In this context, subjects such as mixtures, classification and selection of separation methods, separation methods of mixtures, distillation, crystallization, extraction methods are explained through examples.
