Course Learning Outcomes: Upon the successful completion of this course, students will be able to:
NoLearning Outcomes
1 Students shall internalize about weldability concept. They can comprehend that in deed it covers process and construction elements, although this concept is accepted as a material’s characteristics.
2 Students shall gain knowledge about microstructure formation and feature changes during welding well in order to realize weld and soldering/brazing joints, which have wide application areas.
3 Students shall Recognize TS (Turkish Standards), American Standards (AWS) and latest European Standards (EN), welding terms and symbols used in filler materials.
4 Students conduct applied studies related to the characterization of welded structures. They gain in-depth knowledge about macrostructure, microstructure, and mechanical tests, and develop reporting skills.
