Objectives of the Course To learn about the use of auxiliary equipment in Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation.
Course Content Need and selection of an assistive device, crutches, walkers and canes applications; crutches, canes, walkers and parallel bars training; wheelchair and its types, wheelchair selection and special additions, wheelchair training; environmental and architectural arrangements; technology in physiotherapy and rehabilitation; robotic physiotherapy applications; upper extremity and lower extremity robotic training; virtual reality; nano-technology applications in rehabilitation; orthosis and prosthesis

1 To be able to identify assistive devices used in physiotherapy and rehabilitation and to plan appropriate landscaping
2 To be able to determine the need for an assistive device according to the ambulation level and to teach how to use these devices
3 To be able to learn the types of wheelchairs, their sizes, personal chair selection and transfer methods.
4 To learn robotic physiotherapy, virtual reality and nano technology and to be able to make patient-specific applications
