Objectives of the Course The aim of this course is to provide the students to comprehend the acute and chronic effects of exercise on different body systems, the training and exercise adaptation processes, the post-exercise recovery processes, the effects of exercise in different environmental conditions, the performance tests in sports, and the prescribing exercise.
Course Content In this course; exercise and physical activity, energy transfer systems in body and exercise, energy use in physical activities, maximum oxygen consumption and anaerobic threshold concepts, exercise and respiratory system, exercise and cardiovascular system, exercise and musculoskeletal system, exercise and endocrine system, exercise and recovery process, adaptation to training and exercise, exercise in hot and cold environments, exercise and haematological system, performance tests in sport, and regulation of exercise prescription subjects are included.
