Objectives of the Course The aim of this course is to examine techniques such as Bobath, Johnstone, Brunnstrom within the scope of neurophysiological approaches, their application to the patient with indications and systematic follow-up of the results.
Course Content Within the scope of this course; Definition of cerebrovascular events, neuroanatomy of cerebrovascular events, risk factors of cerebrovascular events, clinical features after stroke, medical treatment after stroke, general rehabilitation principles after stroke, theoretical dimension of neurophysiological approaches and their relationship with other treatment methods, normal movement and movement after stroke, tone and postural control , neurodevelopmental treatment approach (Bobath) for stroke treatment, basic features and principles of Bobath approach, clinical problem solving and evaluation methods with Bobath approach, positioning according to Bobath approach, trunk and upper extremity treatment according to Bobath approach, trunk and upper extremity mobilization according to Bobath approach methods, lower extremity treatment according to Bobath approach, balance and walking training according to Bobath approach, posture and swing phase exercises according to Bobath approach, sitting position and mat activities according to Bobath approach, recovery period exercise according to Bobath approach Evaluation of the disabled and during the recovery period, preparing a treatment program according to the Bobath approach, Johnstone approach and its basic principles, early exercises according to the Johnstone approach, upper and lower extremity treatment according to the Johnstone approach, gait training according to the Johnstone approach, motor development exercises and motor development according to the Johnstone approach evaluation, preparation of a treatment program according to Johnstone approach, Brunnstrom approach, neurophysiological principles of Brunstrom method, evaluation according to Brunnstrom approach, shoulder and hand training according to Brunnstrom approach, pelvis and lower extremity training according to Brunnstrom approach, gait training according to Brunnstrom approach and treatment program according to Brunnstrom approach preparation topics.
