Objectives of the Course

The aim of this course is to teach students the pathology required for health-related undergraduate branches other than medical education.

General pathology, definition of pathology and methods and techniques used in pathology, pathological terminology, cell pathologies, inflammation, regeneration, cellular damage and adaptation mechanisms, necrosis and apoptosis, circulatory pathologies, shock, systemic pathologies, edema, acute and chronic inflammation, wound healing, immunopathology, pathology of genetic diseases, bone, neoplasia, dysplasia, hyperplasia, hypertrophy, benign and malignant tumors, carcinoma, sarcoma, tumor development and stages, joint and soft tissue pathologies, peripheral nerve and skeletal muscle pathologies, central nervous system diseases, hemodynamic disorders
