Objectives of the Course
|
To provide information about prostheses, indications, applications, modifications and possible complications, to provide an understanding of amputee rehabilitation, to gain the ability to plan and implement the appropriate treatment program for amputees.

Course Content
|
Within the scope of this course, amputation, amputation causes, levels, congenital limb deficiency, partial hand and foot prosthesis, prosthesis applications and component selection according to upper and lower extremity amputation levels, static and dynamic adjustments in prostheses, control mechanisms, gait problems in lower extremity amputees, early and temporary prosthesis applications, myoelectric prosthesis, advanced technology prosthesis applications and amputee rehabilitation are included.
