Objectives of the Course
|
The aim of this course is to explain the role of occupational therapy at team working in rehabilitation, to identify the basic occupational therapy assessment methods in performance areas, to provide basic informations and application examples on the development of appropriate treatment approaches.

Course Content
|
In this course, the basics of work and occupational therapy for physical dysfunction, evaluation of daily life activities, training for daily living activities, evaluation of mobility, transfer activities and biomechanical principles, job evaluation and work programs, leisure activities, activity analysis, main functional motor evaluations based on occupational therapy, evaluation and treatment of hand injuries, evaluation of senses, treatment of sensory functions, sensory integration and treatment methods, evaluation and treatment of visual deficits, evaluation and treatment of perceptual dysfunctions, and the principles of occupational therapy in different problems (hemiplegia, cerebral palsy, mental disability, rheumatology) subjects are included.
