Objectives of the Course

By explaining the theoretical basis of health communication, to provide students with the ability to evaluate health communication activities with a critical approach and foresight in accordance with the interdisciplinary nature of the field.

Health communication and basic concepts in health communication, the concept of the target audience in health communication and how to determine the target audience, the evaluation of the concept of communication in terms of health communication, communication in the triangle of patient, physician and pharmacist, health communication campaigns, basic concepts in the media and the importance of the media in communication, health literacy and critical health communication, health news and health journalism in newspapers in central media, health news and health journalism on televisions in central media, health news and journalism in magazines, health news and journalism in medical journals, health news and journalism in social media, health news and journalism in local media.
