Objectives of the Course The aim of this course is to provide the necessary information about first aid.
Course Content Introduction to first aid, definitions, basic life support, first aid in case of bleeding and shock, first aid for injuries, first aid for burns, frostbite and heat stroke, first aid in fractures, dislocations and sprains, first aid in disorders of consciousness, first aid in poisoning, first aid in animal bites and insect bites, first aid for foreign object in eyes, ear, nose, first aid in drowning, patient transportation methods, environmental problems, first aid in disasters

1 Knows the main structures and functions of human body systems, understands the concept of first aid and circumstances for first aid.
2 Can apply first aid in case of bleeding, shock, cardio-pulmonary resuscitation, bone and soft tissue injuries, burns and frostbites, poisoning and animal and insect bites, foreign objects in the body, drowning etc.
3 Knows patient transportation methods.
