Objectives of the Course To give information about adaptation and behavioral problems that are frequently encountered in children and adolescents and studied under developmental psychopathology.
Course Content Developmental psychopathology, mental retardation, pervasive developmental disorders, attention deficit and hyperactivity disorder, attachment disorders, learning disability, mood disorders, personality disorders, anxiety disorders, schizophrenia, suicide, eating disorders, abuse, substance use, stuttering, DSM 5 diagnostic criteria , ICD diagnostic criteria.

1 Students who successfully complete this course will define its importance, learn about and explain common mental disorders in childhood and adolescence; will also be able to list the DSM 5 diagnostic criteria.
2 Students will be able to distinguish between normal and problem behaviors and mental disorders.
3 Students will be able to distinguish and describe various behavioral problems; They will learn the symptoms of these problems.
4 Children with the possibility of mental disorders will have the theoretical knowledge to tell the relevant specialist physician units to be directed.
