Objectives of the Course
|
The aim of the course is to teach the basic principles of special education, to provide information about individuals with special needs and to inform them about the factors that cause special needs. In addition, to give introductory information about different diagnosis groups, to give information about the development support programs required for the development of children with special needs and under risk.

Basic Concepts and Principles of Special Education, History of Special Education, Children with Special Needs and Special Education, Inclusion and Support Special Education Services, Special Education in Preschool Period, Children with Intellectual Disabilities, Children with Learning Disorders, Children with Emotional and Behavioral Disorders, Advanced Children with Grade and Multiple Disabilities, Children with Visual Impairment, Children with Hearing Impairment, Children with Physical and Health-related Disabilities, Gifted and Talented Children, Development Support Programs Related to Individuals' Special Needs, Working with Families.
