Objectives of the Course In early childhood education; School-family cooperation in public-private preschool education institutions, its importance, factors that make it necessary, benefits, legal basis and relevant legislation, family participation studies, family education and support programs, effective school-family-environment relations in raising social awareness, school-family To gain theoretical knowledge and practical skills about approaches and attitudes facilitating participation, school-family cooperation and family participation types-activities, individual programs to be applied in special situations, and crisis management.
Course Content Basic concepts related to family education; importance, goals, principles of family education; family education models; family theories (Family System Theories, Social Relationship Theory, Bioecological Theory, Structural Functional Theory); Family education practices in Turkey and other countries; planning, implementing and evaluating family education studies; methods and techniques used in family education; family participation studies (family communication activities, participation of the family in educational activities, individual interviews, home visits); Examining the Education Program for 0-36 months Children and the Integrated Family Support Education Guide (EBADER) and the Pre-School Education Program and the Integrated Family Support Education Guide (OBADER).
