Objectives of the Course This course aims to provide the student with the necessary knowledge and skills about the concept of biochemistry, sampling methods and things to be considered, cell structure, carbohydrate, protein and fat metabolism, basic biochemical tests.
Course Content In this course; Introduction to biochemistry, biochemistry, digestion and metabolism of proteins, functions of plasma proteins, properties and functions of enzymes, basic hematological tests, blood gases, cardiac markers, basic endocrinological tests and points to be considered in sampling, nucleic acids, liver function tests, bilirubin and ammonia metabolism, kidney function tests, urea and uric acid metabolism, biochemistry of carbohydrates, digestion and metabolism, role of hormones in carbohydrate metabolism, lipid biochemistry, digestion and metabolism, shaped elements of blood, tumor markers, reproductive health and related tests, infectious diseases and related tests. It is included.

2 Have sufficient information about hormonal control of metabolism, structure and functions of hormones, hormonal disorders
3 Have information about the structure and biochemical functions of vitamins and enzymes
4 Have knowledge about the composition of body fluids, mineral metabolism and functions
5 Gains knowledge of the composition of the body and the main classes of molecules in the body. The basic structures of the human body are carbohydrates, lipids, proteins, water. and minerals, and the structure, function and metabolism of these molecules, how the metabolic integrity between all these molecules understands.
6 Learn the structure and functions of hemoglobin and myoglobin, have knowledge about the basics of jaundice.
7 Have information about DNA and RNA structure and their roles in the cell.
