Objectives of the Course This course aims to provide students with advanced knowledge and skills that protect, develop and sustain the health of the school community. Focused on the roles of the school nurse caregiver, educator, consultant, planner / coordinator, case manager and investigator
Course Content School health services are aimed at children and young people aged 5-24, teachers and other employees. Defining the health status / problems of the school community; organizing health promotion programs; immunization and controlling infectious diseases; managing the health care of children with disabilities and chronic diseases; to provide first aid services in case of sudden injury and illness; It is a set of activities organized to improve school environmental health. In this context, school nurses serve as the primary healthcare workforce trained in their field, with important responsibilities.
