Objectives of the Course

This course is designed to provide student nurses with the knowledge and practical skills to be effective educators in both academic and service settings.

Course content, teaching/learning philosophy, Basic Concepts of Education, Training and Programs, Adult education principles, Health Education, Health literacy, Counseling and Communication, Positive Education Environment, Education, Methods and Techniques, Effective Presentation Preparation and Presentation Methods, It includes teaching in the contexts of Assessment and Evaluation, Presentation Skills, Professional training (Compliance training, In-service training, Continuing education), Teamwork and Team Leadership, Basic nursing education and philosophy, Group Work and Presentation.
