Objectives of the Course The aim of this course is to develop our students' decision-making competencies by using critical thinking, structured reasoning and creative problem solving in today's world where information and everything is spread and consumed very rapidly and we have almost become a consumer society.
Course Content It includes what it means to think critically, explaining critical thinking components and skills, introducing valid and sound reasoning and philosophical discussion procedures through analysis of arguments, raising awareness of barriers to critical thinking in various disciplines, and reading and writing practices aimed at acquiring critical thinking skills and dispositions.
