Objectives of the Course The aim of this course; To contribute to the students' gaining sufficient knowledge and skills about nursing services in disaster medicine.
Course Content This course; Introduction of the Course, Definition of the Concept of Disaster, Epidemiology, Importance and Classification, Global Disasters and Complex Emergencies, Disasters Caused by Chemical, Biological, Radiological Agents, High-Risk Vulnerable Groups in Disasters, Mental Health in Disasters, Mass Injuries in Disasters, Disaster Triage, Disaster Preparedness, Disaster Planning, Disaster Management, Nurses' roles in disaster management, Legal and ethical issues in disaster response, Research and development in disaster nursing, General evaluation of the course; includes topics.
