Objectives of the Course The aim of this course is to cause teach students to grasp the meaning and importance and the history of Turkish Revolution. The other objectives are to teach the causes of the Fall of the Ottoman Empire, and the Turkish War of Independence, preparations for the National Struggle and give information about the Treaty of Lausanne which is the basic founding treaty of the Turkish Republic.
