Objectives of the Course	The aim of this course is to give information about the theory of economic integration by analyzing the development process of the European Union and the economic and commercial relations between Turkey and the European Union; and also to gain the ability to interpret the relations between economic and political actors.
Course Content	European Union as a global actor, types of economic integration, theoretical background of the European Union, historical development of the European Union, European Union institutions, common policies, Turkey-EU Customs Union Agreement, Turkey-European Union relations.
Course Methods and Techniques	The final exam also includes the topics covered before the midterm exam.
