Objectives of the Course The aim of this course is;
1. Discuss the relationship between the concept of "ecology" and the concepts of environment and sustainability.
2. The relationship between the ecosystem and the urban structure is examined in the discussions of the interior architecture profession.
3. To understand the social responsibility and importance of interior architecture profession in terms of human and ecology.
4. Examine the applications developed through relation between ecology and interior architecture.
Course Content In this course, the role of the human being as part of the ecosystem and the responsibilities of the urban structure as an actor are explained. The concept of ecology is emphasized by discussing the concepts of environment and sustainability from a critical point of view. Discussions are made on the possibilities of ecosystem-friendly designs.
