Objectives of the Course At the end of this course, the student will learn about the political reforms (abolition of the Sultanate, the Proclamation of the Republic and the abolition of the Caliphate) after the National Struggle and the reforms that followed them in law, education, economy, social and cultural fields, the basic features of the foreign policy carried out in Atatürk's period and again. Will be able to explain and interpret Atatürk's principles.
Course Content It tells about the National Struggle in education, culture, social and economic fields, Atatürk's life, the strategy of the Turkish Revolution, the revolutions in the political, social, cultural and legal fields and the formation process of these revolutions. Domestic and foreign political events in Atatürk's period. Atatürk's efforts for world peace. To warn the youth against Atatürk's Principles and internal and external threats to the country and to inform about Turkey's geopolitical position.
