This course aims to enable students to understand and analyze key concepts of political science, and main institutions of domestic and international politics.

Dersin İçeriği
|
This course is designed to provide students with grounding in the study of political science. Students will encounter various views on the apparatus of governance, elections and electoral systems, political parties, party systems, interest groups and social movements, parliamentary and presidential governments, public policy and bureaucracy, law and the courts, and the changing shape of twenty-first century world order. Additionally, each lecture will provide students with perspectives from contemporary politics. At the end of each lecture, there will be a Q&A session during which critical thinking and current and historical examples from Turkey and elsewhere are strongly encouraged.
