Based on an analysis of what scientific knowledge is and the ways of acquiring it and emphasizing the variety of methodological alternatives, this course is designed to introduce students to both qualitative and quantitative research methods employed in different fields so that they will be able to (1) evaluate existing literature more critically, and (2) to make the appropriate methodological choice that best fits to their research interest.
