Objectives of the Course The purpose of this course is to teach the students basic concepts and theories of macroeconomics and the economic policies and become able to make basic macroeconomic analysis.
Course Content Aggregate Economic Variables, Business Cycles, Inflation, Employment, AD-AS Analysis, Total Consumption, Savings and Investment Functions, Public Sector and Government, Financial Sector, IS-LM Analytical Framework, Monetary Policies, Fiscal Policies
Course Methods and Techniques Classroom teaching with blackboard and projector. Reading textbooks and other sources. Case studies and simulations to establish a link between theory and practice.
