Objectives of the Course
|
In the pharmacology course; Informing about the origins, production, physical and chemical properties of drugs, routes of administration, pharmacodynamic and pharmacokinetic properties, mechanisms of action, side effects, toxicity, drug and substance addictions and their treatments, application forms, doses, indications and contraindications, and in the treatment of various system diseases. It is aimed to teach the characteristics of the drugs used and to gain professional knowledge for the correct application of the drug in the clinic.

Introduction to Pharmacology, Absorption, Distribution, Biotransformation and Excretion of Drugs, Application Sites and Pharmaceutical Forms of Drugs, Dose-Concentration Relationship, Mechanism of Action of Drugs, Receptors and Drug-Receptor Relationship, Factors Modifying Drug Effects, Drug-Drug Interactions, Antibiotics and other Chemotherapeutics, Drugs Affecting Gastrointestinal System, Cardiovascular System and Respiratory System and Drugs Used in Emergency Department.
