Objectives of the Course The aim of this course is to provide students with various skills necessary for their clinical practice.
Course Content This course; 1. Hand washing-Wearing sterile gloves, Opening sterile packages, 2. Wound care and dressing, 3. Evaluation of Vital Signs (Respiratory, Pulse, Blood Pressure, Body temperature), 4. Blood collection, 5. Oral and Parenteral drug applications ( SC, IM, IV route), 6. Continuing the topic, 7. Intravenous catheter insertion-removal, serum insertion-removal, 8. Blood glucose monitoring, 9. Oxygen administration, Aspiration, 10. ECG taking, 11. Nasogastric catheter insertion , Nasogastric decompression, nasogastric feeding, 12. Enema, 13. Urinary catheter insertion and removal, 14. Suturing, suturing; includes topics.
