Objectives of the Course The aim of this course is to introduce students to how a business can operate in interaction with the ever-changing business world, within the framework of the following topics: Basic topics and functions in business and management – basic leadership and management skills, vision and ethical standards, basic processes in strategic management, key rules and principles in management functions. concepts, such as the strategic role of core functions such as Marketing, Human Resources, Production, Accounting and Finance in the business.
Course Content Exploring the business in a broad perspective, from production to sales, from accounting to human resources, from marketing to finance, from international business to management information systems; presenting the definition of the business, the differences between for-profit organizations and non-profit organizations and entrepreneurial enterprises, presenting the historical development of the business.
