Objectives of the Course Analyze current economic issues in the world and Turkey economy, discuss solution proposals.
Course Content Utilization of statistical databases of national and international organizations, analysis of important issues of the Turkish Economy: Growth rate, agriculture, industry, services, and tourism. Investment expenditures, consumption expenditures, and savings. Inflation, foreign trade, and current account deficit, foreign debt. Budget balance: budget revenues and expenditures, domestic debt. Unemployment, minimum wage, income distribution, and poverty.
