Dersin Amacı This course aims to make the students familiar with diverse aspects of the nationalism phenomenon, such as the origins of nationalism, nation-building, nationalist historiography. It also studies selected cases of nationalism in modern period.
Dersin İçeriği The course includes both theoretical and historical aspects to elaborate the nationalism and nation building in a holistic manner. The course is mostly based on lectures, but also the students are expected to make presentations on selected subjects.
