Objectives of the Course The aim of this course is to provide the student with basic knowledge in the fields of Maritime Law and Maritime Enforcement Law, so that the student can find solutions when faced with disputes in these fields.
Course Content In the course, first the ship will be defined in terms of legislation and the application area of the provisions will be determined, then explanations will be given on the identity of the ship, then information on the real rights that can be established on the ships will be presented, then the persons related to the ship will be introduced, then basic information will be given about various contracts related to the ships. Liability provisions to be applied in maritime accidents involving maritime accidents will be explained, and finally, information on Maritime Enforcement Law will be given.
