Objectives of the Course
|
The aim of the course is to provide a general understanding of the basic concepts and principles of social security law in the context of social rights, international and national sources of social security law, Turkish social security system, social insurance branches, social assistance and services, to recognize the Turkish social security legislation by examining the important problems that may arise in practice and discussing their solutions.

Social rights, social risks, social security and its historical development, principles and dimensions, international and national sources, Turkish social security system, social insurances, short-term and long-term insurance types, unemployment insurance, wage guarantee fund, general health insurance, special cases, social security regulations related to private insurances, social assistance and services.

Students who successfully complete this course will be able to; Define the basic concepts of social security law, Explain the historical development and principles of social security law, Define the principles and dimensions of the Turkish social security system, Knows the international and national sources of social security law, To be able to explain long and short term insurance branches, unemployment and general health insurances, social assistance and services within the scope of Turkish social security system, Analyze and resolve major legal disputes related to social security law.
