Objectives of the Course
|
The aim of this course is to give the student the missing information in the field of Maritime Law and to gain basic knowledge in the field of Insurance Law, so that the student can find solutions when faced with disputes in these fields.

Course Content
|
Ship accidents and limitation of liability in the field of Maritime Law will be discussed in the first three weeks of the course. Then, an introduction to Insurance Law will be made, and the basic concepts and administrative structure will be examined. Then, the parties of the insurance contract, representation, basic provisions and mutual debts and obligations of the parties will be explained. In addition, information about private insurance types will be given.
