Objectives of the Course Involve students in the general discussions on the basic concepts in the field of Sports Sciences. Discuss all aspects of research areas in this field.
Course Content Introduction to Sports Sciences which primarily determines to spread sport culture among students purposes to transmit the basic knowledge of physical education and sport. This course is designed to give opportunity to the students to discuss all aspects of physical education and sport as an interdisciplinary science in an interactive class environment.

This course is formed to make students aware of rising childhood obesity and alarm dropoff rates for teenagers playing sport, particularly in developed nations and encourage them to contribute active life style in society. The content of the course is comprised of sport philosophy, sport history, Olympics, sport industry, sport management, recreation, health, sport for life, career fields and job market in sport, sport pedagogy, sport in future.
