Objectives of the Course To introduce basic concepts of psychology, to gain insight about human behavior. Within the scope of the introduction to psychology, categories such as psychological development, perception and consciousness, learning, memory and thinking, personality sensation and emotions, mental health and social psychology are covered from the scientific and academic point of view. A historical perspective is presented from the past to today's psychology.
Course Content As a continuation of PSY 107, more emphasis is given to topics related to the central nervous system, learning, motivation and emotions, language and thought, problem solving and decision making, stress and health, social behavior, and intelligence and personality.
