Objectives of the Course The aim of the course is to enable the prospective teachers to approach the situations and problems they will encounter during their professional lives from a scientific point of view through the theoretical frameworks and empirical data of educational psychology.
Course Content The course includes research in Educational Psychology, methods, cognitive development, learning and teaching theories. In this context; Piaget’s cognitive development theory, behavioral theories, cognitive behavioral theories and cognitive theories are presented with the theoretical expression of the teacher. In addition, theories about individual differences and motivation are included in the course content.
