Objectives of the Course The main objective of the course is to prepare students mentally-emotionally for entrepreneurship and to encourage them to entrepreneurship instead of working for someone else in another business. Entrepreneurship course examines all the processes from the discovery of a business idea to its realization. It enables students to learn concepts such as venture, entrepreneur, innovation, business idea, business plan preparation, social networking and social responsibility of the entrepreneur, business ethics and to implement innovative ideas by building a bridge between the theoretical framework and the practices in the sector.
Course Content In this course, theoretical and practical information is given about the basic concepts of entrepreneurship, creativity, innovative thinking in order to find a business idea, project-based thinking, planning, organizing a business, the legal framework of starting a business. Types of Entrepreneurship, entrepreneurship culture, Women Entrepreneurship, Business ethics and social responsibility, Francfising, Local entrepreneurship, Entrepreneurship ecosystem in Turkey, New approaches to entrepreneurship, Venture capital, Financing entrepreneurship, Finding and testing a business idea, Creating and preparing business plans and marketing plans, Designing the business model
