Objectives of the Course The aim of the course is to teach students the details of distribution management and channels of distribution in global landscape.
Course Content This course explores the critical role of distribution within the broader supply chain strategy, emphasizing its importance in achieving customer satisfaction and gaining competitive advantage. With the increasing impact of digitalization, the structure of distribution channels has undergone significant transformation. The course delves into how digital technologies are reshaping logistics operations, from real-time tracking to automated warehouses, enhancing efficiency and flexibility. The course provides practical insights and theoretical foundations to equip students with the necessary skills for managing complex, digitally enhanced distribution networks in dynamic business environments
Course Methods and Techniques (1) The course is conducted in a discussion-based format. (2) Students' knowledge is reinforced through various case studies. (3) Students give group presentations in class. (4) Guest speakers are invited to the course. (5) Gamification and projection techniques are used to encourage student participation.
