Dersin Amacı This course aims to provide students with the opportunity to critically examine their views on normative and applied ethics and to apply this knowledge and new perspectives to make a positive impact on their future paths. This content encompasses a set of values, traits, principles, and ethical considerations related to universal principles, diverse perspectives, normative moral theories, and major approaches. Additionally, it emphasizes the importance of contributing positively to economic, environmental, and social progress, with the goal of achieving sustainable development voluntarily and acting as social responsible members of the international community. This course involves readings, online materials, and group discussions to reach course objectives.
Dersin İçeriği This course is an interdisciplinary and interactive introduction to ethics and the social responsibility. Ethics refers to set of moral values and principles. Ethics and social responsibility course draws from universal norms, principles of various moral perspectives, normative theories and major philosophical approaches. This course also provides an interdisciplinary and interactive perspective to responsible and effective leadership with a widespread knowledge of social responsibility.

The guiding framework will be based on common normative ethical theories and models of ethical decision making. There is not a unique ethical perspective in responsible decision making processes, consequently this course will provide a variety of learning objectives and outcomes.
Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to contribute to:
1. Insights on conducting social life in compliance with ethics
2. Social – distributive Justice and Just Practices
3. Ethical decision making models from different perspectives
4. Responsible and effective leadership models truly required by society
5. Principles, motives and functions of corporate social responsibility in compliance with ethics
6. The role of leaders against recent global concerns and complex world order
